We are a varied community at different ages and stages in life, intentional about building relationships across the generations. We believe God has placed us in this great community and we love the community we live in; it’s our aim to contribute to make our local area better. We’re thankful for the people who started this church and built the facilities we presently have and we’re looking forward to a bright future here. We love to connect with others, so please come along and check out what we’re about.
Cheers,
Mike McGarrity

Connect Church has been in Engadine – as part of the network of Churches of Christ in Australia - for 60 years this year(2024).
We continue to serve our local community through our Preschool which has been operating for over 50 years and we also engage in a number of community projects. We’re committed to learning more about God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – learning what it is to be authentic followers of Jesus and doing it together as a community. We’re not perfect people but we do our best to live out an authentic Christian life.
Connect Church believes that life is a journey and that life is better when we journey together with God. We believe God is love (1 John 4) and God loves all people (John 3:16); God wants connection with every person and wants people to connect with one another too.
We believe the way to connect with God is through faith in Jesus Christ and we love to help people to connect. We teach more about the things we believe in our Sunday services, smaller group gatherings and various courses.
is to Connect people deeper into the Kingdom of God.
is to be a Spirit-filled, intergenerational, life-giving community.
We believe God is calling Connect Church into a season of growing in faith. The concept of faith is explored many times in the Bible, and is vital in our relationship with Jesus. We're excited to see God move as we press into Him and grow in faith as we see it rise in us and in our community.
VILLAGE KIDS is our Sunday creche, kids and teens program.
Children are engaged in a variety of activities that encourage them to explore the nature of God through Jesus. This includes bible themes, games, drama, songs, craft, stories and morning tea. In the interest of keeping our kids involved in our church life and our services, VILLAGE KIDS programs run each Sunday morning during school terms, except during Breakfast Services when we all gather together as a church family.
